Forgiveness

Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times."
(Matthew 18:21-22 NRSV)

In life we always find it hard to forgive someone who has sinned against us, hurt us, or let us down. But we all fool up, just in different ways. Where would we be if we only had a three strikes and your out rule, even seven ?

We must forgive as Christ forgave us, and continues to forgive us. Look at how many times we've turned our backs on God and sinned against him. Forgiveness and Mercy is the same each time, just as strong, just as legit.
